Hi Derek,my camera is a cheap (less than £100 new) Argos compact,Vivitar 4 megapixel.......I like it cos it fits into my pocket. My scope is a Nikon ED82,the 2 seem to work ok together and I've had a few good results from digi-scoping....an awful lot of failures tho! lol!
Do persevere tho....it does get easier.
Yes the weather is good.....we are in the process of creating a new nature pond in the garden so hard work in the sun but we're getting there now......just waiting for the frogs to move in!

Hi Derek, Nikon Coolpix P80,it's small and light to carry around,i find it hard to understand all the things you can now do with Digital Cameras,with this Camera i take photos and hope for the best 90% of the time it works.The Camera has alot of features,some i can use.It all depends on what you want,if you want photos like John takes you need to pay more for a camera,but i'm happy with my shots and my camera.(Jessops £230 in March 09)

Hi derekaaron,nice to hear form someone close to home,this site is so good, look forward to see were you go birding and what you get to see.If you get chance you must go to Rodley Nature Reserve,just a note it's only open Sat,Sun and Wed-10 to 4.
