Bird photos taken whilst working in Abu Dhabi

Al Warsan Lake, on the fringe of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, is a unique man-made wetland and a valuable habitat for more than 185 species of birds, including some of the rarest in the Arabian and Asian regions.

Photos taken in June 2010 around Kielder Forest.
Had some distant telescope views of the breeding Ospreys, but no photo opportunities.
Despite a couple of tree creepers showing well I didn't manage a photo, and missed out photographing a couple of red squirrrels feeding.
Lots of siskins about and large numbers of swallows and house martins. Didn't need to venture into the gents for the house martin pics (sorry Judith), they were under the eaves of the visitor centre at Leaplish!!
Greater spotted woodpeckers were showing well.
