    Don't just take my word for it being a Curlew, i am not that good at ID on birds, so seek an opinion from someone who knows more about birds.

    Although the wildlife is great over there, it must be a wrench being away from family and friends, so have a great time while your home. A little advice, pack some sun in the suitcase or the cold weather here might be a bit of a shock to your system.

Dragged myself out of bed before 05.00 this morning to visit a recommended site in Dubai. Entailed a drive of over one and a half hours, but at that time and it being Ramadan the roads were extremely quiet. With temperatures rising to in excess of 40 degrees by mid day I wanted to get there in good time.
