Me again - forgot to mention I use photoshop usually for the flower photos to change background - the animals/birds are as they were taken - trick is to get close via hides or areas where the birds are used to people and more brave. Can't afford one of those lens's that costs thousands of pounds so have to be a bit canny about getting the birds to come closer to me.

    Hi
Sorry for the delay in replying - haven't logged on for a while. Those photos were taken with a bridge camera Panasonic Lumix 18x zoom (plus 1.75 converter lens on some). For Christmas I treated myself to a Canon D500 DSLR with a 250 zoom lens and am currently getting used to snapping again with an SLR. I will keep the Panasonic as it's brilliant for macro shots and lighter to carry on walks. I had a go at digiscoping but gave it up as a bad job - too fiddly with poor results really. I'm hoping to get more action shots with the DSLR eventually when I know what I'm doing!!
    Regards

    Hi Elizabeth,
I have just been looking through your pictures and i am green with envy, would you mind me asking do you use a Dslr or a spotting scope, which ever you use your pictures are great, also do you use something like photoshop or are they as taken.
I like looking through the members albums because it gives me ideas on what things i should do to take better photographs.
    regards Mike
