Well Maggiemay, up until a few months ago i didn't have the ability to take such photographs, but i learned from other bird photographers on Photo Camel, a brilliant forum!
I had so much sound advice given to me, and the members were so patient with me!, they nursed me through my early period where i was shooting clunkers, yes we have all been there!.
Take a look at this forum, and if you like the look then register, and get a good grounding in the Birdogrophy world.
I use an Olympus E-520, with a 300mm Zuiko lens, shot all hand held.
Hi Maggiemay, thanks for considering me as a friend, I hope to read of your birding successes and questions (I seem to have so many questions, but would feel like a bit of a wally to ask too many at once, so I try to string them out).
