Hi Neil,i've started my Cheshire Blog today.
I also started a Cheshire and Wirral category,hope this is ok & that I've done it right? tho they don't seem to be appearing under "categories"???..... thought it was better than having the post uncategorised? but please feel free to put them in the right place for me,thanks!! lol!

I enjoy birds, butterflies, moths and dragonflies and enjoy finding all of these wonderful creatures, I've been birding for 25 years or so and have a local patch at Reculver, which you may be familiar with?

I am going to try the Xacti for digiscoping and general photography, when I've had a good go at it will write up a section in the Bird Watching equipment section. I got it for nothing so certainly no harm in giving it a go. It isn't the kind of camera I would normaly go for but the quality seems good enough to be considered, it's a lot easier to carry about than my 40d that's for sure

I'm begining to find my way around the forum and really like it. I've set up a group and wondered if it was possible to add images that are not shown in the main album page aswell, for example, I have a picture of a wild rabbit and a map of the Lancashire coastal way that may not be of interest to people viewing generally, but that relate to discussions I've put in my group.

Also, I started a discussion on my local patch, Marton Mere, but then started another discussion for favourite sites people may have in Lancashire. I deleted the Marton Mere discussion and re-submitted it to the favourite sites discussion, but Marton mere is showing as having been deleted by me. Is there any way that this can be removed?

I tried sending you a PM but it would'nt go through.

Hi Neil, I've been up the Peaks two more times without success. Apparently they can be 'squeeked in' just like a fox and shot, which they have been. I think I will wait for a sighting before I try again!
