Default AAAaaaaarrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhh!!!!

I think the title say's it all!!

I have a week off work (last Thursday to next) but this has been broken by an unavoidable training day to be held in Preston today.

I dragged myself out of bed at 6am - now remember I work nights so this is a big achievement! Freezing cold, first frosts of the year.

Unbelievably, the first bus into town from where I live is at 08.10, which is no good as I needed to be in Preston by then. So, forked out for a taxi and got to the station, train left on time - hurrah!!

Blackpool to Preston by train is 25mins - I got there 2 hours later thanks to points failure and disrupted electrical supply!!!!

Called work to explain and was told to go home as I have missed too much and will have to do the next course in March!!

So, holiday interfered with, £16 travel costs for nowt, and had to use another leave day for today and then had to make the journey back, that took an hour and a half, so a slight improvement!!!

At home now, calming down by putting up my feeders for the autumn and the first birds to visit are Magpies - BUGGER OFF, I WANT A GREEN WOODPECKER!!!!!!!

Thank you all for listening......I'm going to do some deep breathing

How frustrating Alan!!

All's well that ends well....nowt wrong with a Magpie...it's when you get more than one that's the problem!

Hope your deep breathing did the trick....now plan where you are off to tomorrow!

Enjoy the rest of your hols!

Blimey. Sounds like you need a rub down with a copy of Birdwatch.
