Thanks LS.

Cloudy, cold, but not those nasty dark grey things

Later: We are actually having rain now.

I tell you. I am so unfit. Had to do four lenghts of a pool (at our leisure) which I did LOL
Then two lengths in 60 secs. I think I did it 70 seconds then he tells me, as I am not doing the lifeguard job, it doesn't matter.
I almost kill myself drowning and then he tells me I didn't need to do it for the job I am applying for.
I am now stiff as a board. Need to go swimmin gmore often and try to get my body into shape. Or some sort of fitness.
I did better than a 17 year old though so it wasn't that bad.

Beautiful day again. Cold again. Going to meet that pro photographer at Hogganfield Loch to pick up a Nikon camera, and he'll give me some tips to get the best out of it.
£500, but I am getting a grip, spare batteries, memory card and a few other tit bits.
It's a Nikon D80. Should be better than the sony anyway.
Try before I but though

I am stiff as a board today. I did better than an 18 year old (roughly) and he was going for lifeguard duty.
I thought I was unfit. The other two lads coasted the swim part.
The actual interview is one of those I hate. The scenario question, the motivation question, the problem solving question. The other stupid questions.
That's stuff for people who want to be managers or supervisors. What they asking me for?
I can't motivate someone to work if they don't want to. Besides, they would just tell me to "go away".
But I was the only female there, and all the others seemed to be looking for lifeguard jobs which i am not.
They are doing loads of interviews and are planning ahead because the commonwealth games will be here soon so hopefully.
PS, wont hear anything till about 3 weeks.

Hope your aches and pains have gone away now and that you get some good news in 3 weeks time, Maggie!

I had a rotten day yesterday...I picked up the '24hr sickness bug' from somewhere! On the mend now, hope the weather is cheery at the weekend I could do with brightening up a bit!

Much better today thank you, Ruth! I just need to get my appetite back and build some strength up!
Great news on the Wheatears, Ruth! Eyes peeled in earnest now when out and about!

A lovely sunny start to the day that has now changed to dull and cloudy.
