Default An early Bewick's Swan = a long hard winter!

Taken from the Telegraph:

Britain faces longest winter in 50 years after earliest ever arrival of Siberian swan - Telegraph

Lovely to see they are on their way a long hard winter or not! They are such little beauties!

Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you.

Hm. A lone Bewick's pitched up at Martin Mere today, their earliest-ever record. The swan researcher there was delighted, but added that neither trees nor birds could foretell the future, so he'll stick to the met. office forecasts thanks very much .
