Oh, and patience. You can't buy that and it's an important part of wildlife photography.
I have the patience really, my bad back doesn't. Got to move after about 10 minutes unless I am really comfy

Took a bundle of pictures today down at the Clyde in RAW format and it's amazing what you can do with PS raw image edits or Nikons programme. Techinque is brilliant on that.

Didn't take the tripod though as it was a last minute decision to pop down again after running a few errends. But the pictures turned out ok.
Just a pity the birds were scarce today. It was so calm and peaceful today. No wind as such so got some nice reflection shots.

Thanks, Maggie! I am off on Saturday to the Algarve for two weeks! Staying in Galé, it is about 10 minutes away from Albufeira and 5 minutes from my favourite reserve...Pera Marsh!

Enjoy your holiday Judith - I love the Algarve, usually stay at Ohlos D'Agua when I go.

For those going to Far Ings this weekend I hope you have an enjoyable and fruitful visit - would have loved to have joined you but I'm not home till 01 October. I intend to go whilst I'm home so I'm looking forward to your trip reports.
