Great news Bassist,we have a pair nesting high up at Peckforton Castle,they are being protected 24/7 as the eggs were stolen a few years ago.

You'll have to show me where they are. Last year I stood in the pouring rain, staring up at the spire, getting some very strange looks from people passing by!!!

Hello again.. I know I know been a while hahaha

Anyway, I have been 4 times in my lunch hours from work and I havent seen then fly into the church BUT I have seen them sitting on the church itself and flying around.

If you stand on the opposite side of the road looking straight at the main arch into the church (bottom of spire), the male sits on the right hand side, only way I can describe where abouts is BEFORE it turns into the spire.

Glad to hear that you managed a glimpse of the elusive Peregrines Neil,great birds aren't they,I saw one last week too.......I love your ecclesiastical description!
