Peregrine Falcon still perched on the BT building in Hemel Hempstead Town Centre this evening at 5pm, on the bottom of the main road from the M1.
Really easy to see, even whilst going round the magic roundabout. Possible to park in B&Q round the corner, it was fairly active, my son saw it diving onto a pigeon (sadly it missed), and it did a couple of circuits of the town centre before heading North. The blog that Cassillis included in her post is excellent. The blog says it is a female, has returned for 3 winters, and is normally seen before 9am or after 4pm. |
