Default Padstow, Cornwall

I'm off to Padstow next weekend for a week, does anyone know of any good places for birding close to Padstow and are there any specialities I should be on the lookout for?. I'm aware of Walmsley Sanctuary at Wadebridge and have contacted the warden there, Any advice would be gratefully received.

I've just read that there are some Black Kites showing there at the moment.

Cornwall isn't my area of 'expertise' either but I hope someone can help.

Have a good time, the Kites have been lingering for quite a while now so you should be in luck.

The Camel Trail runs between Wadebridge and Padstow and affords some stunning views and good opportunities for birding along its route.

Oh and If you do go to Wadebridge don't miss out on Barnecutts Bakery Best pasties I've ever had.
