Really depends on when you are going. South Stack is obviously best when the breeding seabirds are back in the spring. Although you can see the likes of Chough and Peregrine all year round.
I believe Holyhead harbour has had Black Guillemot, Red throated, Black throated and Great northern diver all in the last couple of weeks. Cemlyn bay nature reserve is great from spring onward as it has one of the largest Sandwich tern colony's in Britain. Plus you can see Common, Arctic, Little and if your very lucky Roseate terns here also.
I'm sure you will have a great time whenever you go as Anglesey is a superb place so enjoy.

There is a super little RSPB reserve at Valley Lakes adjacent to the RAF Station Mac,a Spring or summer visit is best with Cetti's and Grasshopper Warblers and some wonderful Orchids and butterflies to see!
RSPB Conwy is also well worth a visit en-route.

Great time of year for sea watching. Point Lynas on the north coast of Anglesey is a sea watching hotspot in the right conditions.

Hi I saw a programme when Fred Dibnah took his steam tractor over to Angelsey, and he went to the open copper mine near beumaris, that looked really interesting, but it was on the way to puffin island which is good for birds. Jim
