Its just got a little muddled up
Marshside is in Southport which is indeed Merseyside.
The Cheshire vote went to Inner Marsh Farm I believe, better check with Twitcheruth and Jonny74.
Gtr Manchester vote went to Pennington Flash in the absence of any other.

Not too sure about IOM but I put forward St Bees for Cumbria any other suggestions from anyone would be great. There is also Hodbarrow, Haweswater and I think you could put Walney in there as well. And I think Clydebirder might give us an idea about the Solway Firth as I think this incorporates some of Cumbria. I have never been that far up. Think this could be an interesting debate.

Sorry I can't contribute either, I've never been to any specific birding venue in Cumbria. I did try to see Hawfinch at Monk Coniston but failed, so spent the little time we had left at Coniston Water and Grizdale Forest niether of which were much to write home about.

Sizergh Castle near Kendal in Cumbria is a reliable spot for Hawfinch. A small flock has been seen just this week in the car park!

When we get to Solway and South West Scotland there are many sites. Let me know when you want some places suggested. I'm off north again next week.
