Default Antarctica!

My neighbour has just returned from 3 weeks in the Antarctic.
Does anyone know the id of the pics please?
One is a type of Albatross and the other maybe a Petrol or Shearwater????

Thanks Mac.......another suggestion for pic 2 is Cape Petrol.

You may well be right with cape petrol, were the pictures taken on a digi or film camera. mac

Film.......we scanned them to get them onto my laptop.

The second bird is a Cape Petrel (Antarctic Petrel is the only similar species but has a different pattern on the wings).
The albatross does look likely to be a Wandering Albatross, but albatross ID can be very difficult - are there any other photos of it?
