Apologies to "he" for taking the thread a wee bit off topic, but it would be interesting to know where Avocets wander. One arrived near Lunan Bay, south of Montrose, a few months ago. It stayed for some days.

I will ask people at Upton Warren Worcestershire to keep an eye out as they have quite a few breed their so will drop a line on their thread on another forum
