That's good news,we were over there a few weeks back, way too early for Osprey, but it was interesting to see the work they have done on the site. It was a good visit for raptors and Stonechat seemed everywhere. We will be returning now the Ospreys are back.

It looks like South Cumbria is fortunate to have more Ospreys than those at Foulshaw. They are reported at Roudsea Wood and Esthwaite Water as well. The Bassenthwaite Ospreys in North Cumbria have also returned.

They are spreading quite nicely, and without translocation they are doing it on their own, as should be.We will have them back in Yorkshire before to long.

Were they talking of doing a translocation scheme with Ospreys Tom ? The G.W.T. have done such a scheme with Black Grouse which seems successful.
