Default Altea, Spain

We went to Altea, Spain last week. It's a great little spot and very accessible - a short walk from local hotels or a 20 min tram ride from Benidorm. The reserve is public access 24/7 and is a walk round about the last kilometer of the River Algar before it reaches the sea. Lots of small birds (large numbers of Serin when we went) plus waders and a few raptors.
A few pics attached.

Some great pictures there, but very big!!

I'd love to be able get clear flight shots of any bird, never mind a Swallow. Sounds like a lovely little reserve.

We visited this spot on our only visit to Benidorm a few years ago and were lucky enough to see Eleonora's Falcon hunting. The reserve it a great antidote to the hectic lifestyle on the city. Well worth a visit if in the area. Great pfotos by the way even if they do seen very large on a small laptop screen,.Pictures like this make me realise photography is best left to others.
