Default Ospreys Galore

We are having a few days up on the Moray coast, every where we go we see
Ospreys,its shows how they are doing.

Great set of pictures, must have been a real thrill to see them,
that one caught a bigger fish than I ever have.

Nice pictures, and yes, Ospreys do seem to be doing well.

I had a few days in Dorset last week, including RSPB Arne, where they're trying to prompt passage Ospreys to stop and breed. This year was a near miss, but one of the birds that did linger is still there and was viewable, albeit from a distance. They're also introducing newly fledged Ospreys into the Poole Harbour area (Brownsea Island) in the hope that after migration they'll return to Poole Harbour rather than their Scottish breeding grounds. It'll be interesting to see if it works...
