Thumbs up Abberton Reservoir, Essex

This is an Essex Wildlife Trust reserve and visitor center.


i visit there regularly and its pretty good for birds and wildlife.

Birds that have been seen there.

Grey Heron
Greater Flamingo (must of been very lost)
Mute Swan
Whooper Swan
Cormorant
Little Egrets
Spoonbill (a few there at the moment)
Bewicks Swan
Greylag Goose
Canada Goose
Red-Breasted Goose (2 that are resident)
Barnacle Goose (1 that is resident)
Egyptian Goose

That's a good long list.......sounds like a great spot to visit if I ever find myself in the area!
