Default ahoyhoy from Berkshire! (ish)

hello all! just thought I'd drop a line to introduce myself. I live in south Oxfordshire, but my patch goes into Berkshire so i get some wetland birds as well! I'm a bit green when it comes to birdwatching; this is my first year counting! favourite bird? do you do that sort of thing? I hope so. internationally, African fish eagle and at home? the shoveler; they're brilliant!

Anyoos! nice to meet you all!
Chris

Welcome to the forum Chris. Shovellers need love too although I prefer Long Tailed Tits.

thanks for the warm welcome!! it's taken me 14 days to see a buzzard this year. i can usually see them out of my living room window. Got there in the end! good old road kill on the A4074 always plenty to eat for our raptors there!

We are a friendly lot and if you ever mis-identify a Dunnock, expect some friendly ribbing.
