Default Greetings from Essex

Hi guys (and girls of course) getting back into birding after a very long, 30 years, break, although you never stop looking and identifying.
Spent my youth birding on the North Norfolk coast as my grandparents lived in Blakeney.
Even had a chat with Bill Oddie in Nancy's Cafe in Cley.
Looking forward to all of your advice and help.

Happy Birding

Welcome back to birding, and to the forum. Depending on how disconnected you've been from birding, you might have some surprises in store regarding what is and isn't about after your 30 year break; some pleasant, some not so. Enjoy.

Regular posters usually relate their exploits, and all are friendly and knowledgeable, so please ask about anything you need help with, and keep us informed about your journey back to birding.

Hi David welcome back we love Blackney and all that area as said birding has changed
a lot over the years, even to the point of the names ie water hen is now moorhen
hedge sparrow is now dunnock, same bird just the ones at the top like changes.
enjoy thats the main thing.
