Cheers Tony, I'm pleased with the Sigma 18-300mm lens as a walkabout, and the close-up lens (which is only slightly bigger than a filter) means I don't have to carry a separate macro lens with me.

Recently bought a Sigma Close-up lens (AML72-01) to go with my Sigma 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 DC Macro lens. Tried it out in the garden photographing hover-flies with my Canon 70D.
