Smile Getting the most from my Optolyth 80

I have epoxed the base plate of a Rigel Quickfinder to the telescope allowing me to attach a Rigel quickfinder to the telescope shown below. being a keen astronmer to I own a 200mm Dobson which is quiete a large beast, so for a quick session out comes the optolyth 80.

The Rigel clips into the base plate easily and can be removed when not required.

This is the view looking towards Jupiter you can see the circles are above jupiter move the telescope down till the circles are superimposed over jupiter looking through the eyepiece jupiter is perfectly lined up I have used Stellarium to simulate the last two views stellarium is free to down load and is very good aid to identify the night sky in real time
