On the topic of painted ladies, Butterfly Conservation are desperate for people to submit their sightings to help monitor this lovely species. They are also looking for Humming-bird hawk-moth sightings too. You can help here: Migrant Watch - Butterfly Conservation

A great pic, Ruth! Good camouflage there! I had 4 Peacocks and 1 Painted lady on the Buddleia earlier this afternoon!
Flying ants here also!

Painted Lady's are everywhere at Fife Ness, there were dozens of them flying around at the coastal walkway yesterday evening
