Well (should that be whale?) folks. There have been no further confirmed sightings of our Clyde Whale, alive or otherwise.
A NB Whale turned up in Loch Eil and there were initial thoughts that it may be one and the same however we used your pics of the dorsal and lumbar John and compared it to pics from Loch Eil and were able to discount that theory so thanks for that! The Loch Eil whale was helped out of the Loch by a technique used for the first time and which can be read about here: British Divers Marine Life Rescue - News Craig |

At least the noise humans make came in useful for something worth while, hopefuly they will be able to fine tune the technique and it helps with the plight of any misplaced cetacean.
