Default Yet another wierd duck for id...!

This was not the same bird as the wierdo mallard....!Pic quality not great and you cant see its bill,but hopefully enough for id i hope..!Peace..!

While we are on the subject of wierd ducks, heres a couple of images of a drake King Eider I photographed at Barassie in Ayrshire on 05-APR-2006. They are one of my favourite rarities and are stunning birds and always great to watch. They almost look like painted models

king eider........nice pics!I was reading about them the other day after coming across a pic of one...!Again your neck of the woods,hardly likely i will ever see one of these around the ribble...but you never know...! And well done id all those birds...that snipe has put up..you bird boffin.....!hehe
