Mmmm, I'll think about it............as long as it's not all double Dutch

Actually, I'm on holiday the same week as Maggie and Ruth, but I'm not going away - just a few day trips planned.

I'll be seeing if I can spot Twitch at Leighton Moss and St. Bee's Head - sorry to have the same locations planned Ruth, I'm bound to attract monsoon rains

lol,don't worry Alan.......the birds don't mind the wet and we're quite happy sat in a hide at Leighton Moss while the monsoons last........we had water coming under the door there last year it was so bad!!!
We're hoping to call at Hesketh en-route to see the Crane......if it's still there!
The first few days are ok weather wise tho,shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Hope those of you going on holiday have an enjoyable time. Ruth (and Alan) enjoy your visits to Leighton Moss, one of my favourite reserves - it was here that I saw my first ever bittern. Didn't manage any bearded tits though. Once again, enjoy yourselves.

Thanks Ian,RSPB Leighton Moss is my fave reserve too and inspired me way back in 1984 to pic up me childhood bins again.....ironically after visiting LM for years without success I saw my first Bittern within walking distance of our house here in Cheshire!! ......got the Beardeds last year there though!
