Think greensandpiper ...a new one for me if thats the case!and common sandpiper....!Brockholes this morning !Peace

Not 100% certain, but I think both are Green Sandpiper.

See your not ready for stamp collecting yet , you are correct. They are Green Sandpipers

If the first pic re my last post,is a green sandpiper then this one from longton marsh last week ...has me confused !I thought it was a common sandpiper so i did not put it up...!Now i do not know.....! Need a proper book me thinks......!Peace......!

Oops that one is a Common Sandpiper, it is sandier brown in colour, longer tailed and white on sides goes further up on side of chest than Green

The wader in pic 2 is a Greenshank IMO...

The wader in pic 2 is definately not a Greenshank, it's a Green Sandpiper, Greenshank are taller, longer billed and paler than this bird, they also have streaking further down the sides
