Kestrels ?
Right, peeps, I think that these are both kestrels. One a juve and t'other adult. I was told that the juve is a sprawk but I can't see it myself. Any confirmation one way or the other would be a great help.

Both Kestrels but the lower image is a juvenile, note the pale tips to upperwing feathering
