Default Not sure of this one

Saw this little guy in an area populated by Goldfinch which I am certain it isn't...and also Linnet which possibly it may be although unlikely I think looking at it?? Help please.

Fits the pictures on google of a Juv Linnet, but really I have no idea and want to know the answer, but it's a lovely picture.

edit: Could also be a female.
