Default NE coast

I did lots of wonderful coastal walking in Northumberland and on Hadrians Wall in Cumbria last week. Captured pics (mostly very long distance) of many birds that I can't positively ID from my books so would be grateful for your assistance. (I must get myself an even better zoom lens).

First one is a wagtail of some kind I'm sure but which? This was in Cumbria.
Second is of a common Gull on left I think but what is the character in the centre? Might it be a snipe?
Third, another common Gull in foreground but is the other a Mediterranean Gull?
Fouth - no idea!
Fifth, is that a juvenile Redshank?

Three more to follow in another post
Thanks, Paul

Great photo's again, Paul.

I would say pic 1 is a juvenile Pied Wagtail and pic 5 is a Green Sandpiper. I have thoughts on the birds in the remaining pics but will wait and see what others come up with.

I agree re Juv Pied Wagtail but think image 5 maybe a Wood Sandpiper Paul.
The other Gull is a Black Headed Gull and the wader on the right looks like a Redshank.

#4 is intriguing me, looks waggy in shape. Is no one going to have a stab?

Pied and not White? Here he is lightened up.

(I'm not being silly here, just trying to learn the difference.)

No problem Peter.
Definitely Pied for me because of the lack of a sharp border between head and body and the black bib on White is also a sharp edge where as this bib clearly has mottled/blurred edges.
See the sharp edges to this White Wagtail.
