I know the bird is wet but I thought the tuft would still show even as a little bump as it is extra feathers.
John's explaination makes it all the more easier to ID now................

I give up again.

Exactly......we'll all keep on trying Mike.........that's how we all learn isn't it! and you certainly shouldn't feel ashamed we've all made some monumental mistakes over the years!!! lol

Its definately a long learning curve its being confident to select the subject Bird and get it right
