I always get mixed up between chaffchiffs and wallow wirblers; the leg tip is useful.

And if it was named in honour of Bernard R. Ross, shouldn't it be just Ross' Goose ?? Grammar were not one of me bestest subjects but I knows about apostrophes.

I can't remember where I heard it, but the mnemonic device that stuck in my head was "riff raff have dirty legs" (Chiffchaff have black legs)
