Yellow Legged Gull

We get occasional Y-L reported around here but I've never seen them. I do scrutinise the herring/LBBs but in bright light some of the LBBs look relatively pale and I was wondering if there was anything in the pic I could rely on for id.

I've never been to Bulgaria! I guess they're not so rare there?

I have too many problems IDing gulls at the best of times but I didn't pay much attentiion to Yellow Legged Gulls so far so not sure how rare it is to see them on my patch?
