Question White headed sparrow

hi all, I have seen a bird today which was a sparrow with a white head, it was about 8 meters away and feeding and hanging around with normal house sparrows but it back markings were slightly stronger with a light belly and its head was a bright white with a dark trail on the top. Sorry haven't got any photos but will keep checking out the area and try to get some. I thought about a reed bunting but this was in a street and its head was different and it was not a snow bunting. Any one have any ideas.

will have to take the camera with me in future....

Did it look a bit like this?

This is a partially leucistic Sparrow living at the inlaws. They can have a lot more white on them and it seems that the head goes white first. If you google image "leucistic Sparrow" you will see a lot more varieties.
