Default Little Egret?

Hi,

Not a good photo but can someone confirm that this is what I think it is. There are a pair of them often seen in the stream at the back of our house. Difficult to photograph as every time I spot one it spots me and is off.

Still improving my spotting skills.

Thanks

Les

Absolutely, the black bill and yellow feet being the best id features and illustrated really well in that pic.

If you saw it in conjunction with a Great White, it'd also be half the size although they can look deceptively big when they're on their own, in my opinion. I once was convinced I had a great white until a grey heron arrived and dwarfed it
