Default Thrush?

Another appalling pic taken from along way away. At the time I thought it was a Thrush.

Nice work Peter, I suspected it was a lark but wasn't brave enough to say

Not got one for my list this year yet, I had a question mark over a couple of birds on a walk a couple of weeks ago but felt it safer to leave it until they're singing for an easy id!

Thanks, and now I've read up on thier behaviour it is obvious. There were 10-15 of them, quite noisy. I was trying to get a half decent shot of a flock of Yellowhammers and thought it was them making the noise.

A great capture Peter!

I heard my first Skylark of the year when out walking on Saturday. It was much too high in the sky to pick out though!
