For some reason your browser is not loading embedded images from Tinypic.

I assume you are using internet explorer. What version do you have? If you click on, help and then about, it will tell you.

I don't use it so I hesitate to offer advice but this is usually an issue with the cache which becomes clogged and confused. A bit like me.

Can anyone else help Mike?

Peter,
Your images never appear for me either (everyone elses appear with no problem). I very rarely get the box with a red cross in either.
I tried clicking on your other link and this comes up as unobtainable?

I don't know what is going on. They are all on tinypic which is one of the main photo hosting sites.

I use Firefox 4 beta and your images show up OK. I tried with Google Chrome and they show up in that too. Gotta love computers.

This is a problem I have had from time to time but clearing the cache always fixes it. The newer versions of Firefox seem to be very steady and I assume the technology gets spread around the other browsers as updates are sent out.

I would suspect that if anyone is having this problem they make sure they are getting updates and manually flush the cache.

I use an up to date version of Firefox and I am regularly unable to see images in threads in this forum. Often they will become visible on refreshing, but not always. Sometimes when there is more than one image one will show up and the other won't. Right now I don't see the Chaffinch and I've refreshed three times.

I wonder if it's anything to do with the size of the images posted here? In most (all?) other forums I contribute to the normal practice is to post either a small image or a thumbnail, which links to a larger file (that opens in a different window/tab).

Edit: clearing the cache did work this time - but we shouldn't have to do that!
