Please put me out of my misery, I so want this to be a Brambling I can't see through the fact it's actually a Chaffinch.

Back to reality, I was looking at some pics of Female Brambling in summer plumage, the orangey bit is of course as she is sunning herself. The Beak colour is also wrong.
