Default Hen Sparrowhawk????

Had this character perched on our old Lilac tree for about half an hour today. I'm certain it's a hen Sparrowhawk, but of all the SH's I've seen in our garden, I've never seen one with so much white marking on it's back. Is my ID correct????

Yes you're right with Sparrowhawk & probably a female, young males can be brownish as well as females. The white spotting on the back is something that only some birds show & can vary.
