Saw this, Juv LBB?? having Crab for lunch.





And this in the air?



And is this a Herring Gull?

Here goes nothing - I'm saying the 1st two pics are 2nd/3rd winter Herring gull, the 3rd pic 2nd winter Herring gull and the 4th pic an adult in summer plummage!!

In my opinion, they're all herring gulls. The fourth pic is an adult, the third is a juvenile, and the other two are in between!

1st picture is 2nd Summer, then 1st Summer then Summer adult
