Default Is this not a Knot?

Never confident with these small waders. It was seen this afternoon at Leighton Moss, way off in the distance, alone.

I think it is a Knot......Thanks in advance.

To be honest, I'm not 100% on it. Could almost be a purple sandpiper except I've never seen them stand in open water like that.

Not a lot to go on here, but it has the feel of a hunched up Redshank to me.

Is that a hunch? Lol

I'll try and dig out some other pics/angles - also, Maggie returned to Glasgow today so she may have a better pic of it than I, hopefully she'll post one later.

Well, I think Dave has hit the nail on the head. I've looked at some other pics - all equally atrocious - and I reckon he is right with Redshank!

Note to self - calm down and look more closely

(I hope Maggie doesn't now post a pic of a Knot or were all screwed)

So it's knot a not unless Maggie can prove it's a knot.
