Hi Johny

The birds in your images are Yellow-billed Teal (sometimes called Chilean Teal), a sub-species of Speckled Teal Anas flavirostris , they are a South American Species and will have escaped from someones wildlfowl collection

cheers, John

Hi Merlin

The Yellow-billed Duck Anas undulata is a different species, the Speckled Teal only occur in the wild in South America.
Yellow-billed Ducks are greyer in tone than the Speckled Teal and have a different bill shape and pattern.

cheers, John

Below is a Yellow-billed Duck

What a difference a nice close bright picture makes of a Yellow-billed Duck, when we saw them we were around 10,000ft high in the Aberdare National Park just in the base of the clouds. They didn't look very grey then, they looked very much the colour of the ones in jonny74 pics.
