Default Fishing with waders.

Can you tell what this bird is fishing. I have left out a few clues so if you guess or if you know tell us what it is and why.

Way too obvious Paul, I am guessing I am not going to find this bird on the RSPB bird finder.

Its a spotted redshank and the longer legs are hidden in the water! The all-dark upper mandible and the overall pattern of the plumage also lead me to that conclusion.

Adult plumage in Summer is near black? and winter is light grey?

Could it be a Little Stint or [ cant see] long toed stint!!! or an Upland Sandpiper maybe Mike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to give up. I agree it looks more brown than grey on a bigger monitor though
