Your first photo I would say its a Turnstone.
The second a Curlew.
A little unsure of the third maybe a Redshank, not 100%

thanks everyone, was right out on the redshank, although had actually noted the obvious red legs on it... i assume that sandpipers do not have red legs...

Super definition and striking colours on the Turnstone...................really would love to see a better photo if you have one!!!!!

I have a few more shots of the turnstone (my fave iof the week) but no close ups as we were about 50 yards away. I'll see if I can enlarge. It really was beautful. I thought it might have been a plover with that gorgeous plumage... but you did confirm my suspisions. I wonder where the name came from?
