Chiffchaff or Willow Warbler?
The other day i saw one of them, no idea which it was......as i like ticking off birds in my book. I am asking for some advice as to which was the most likely candidate, it was in woodland outside preston lancs.
 No photo sorry....!

If it was in mature woodland it is most likely a Chiffchaff but cannot be definate without more details on the bird. Willow Warblers tend to prefer more open areas but can turn up anywhere during migration

I've heard a couple around the back garden this afternoon, but not seen one since about December last year.
