Default Driving me mad!

Hello all,
I admit to joining this forum initially to answer this question, but hopefully I'll keep dipping in now that I've found it.
Working in the garden I keep hearing a bird song which I can't identify. It has the "accent" of a familar bird but this month has a different song. The call sounds like:"nice to see you" with the see higher in pitch. It has a trill and sometimes just sounds like "to see you".
I'm guessing a seasonal change for blackbird or thrush-any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Jonathan.

Hi Jonathan,

From your description it sounds almost definately like a Blackbird.

Check out the RSPB site. If you type in Blackbird in the search box, it will come up with details about the bird that includes recorded examples of the birds song and calls.

Regards,

Alan
