Question bird of prey ID

hi there, I'm looking for an ID on this bird spotted in the Cairngorms.

Its a buzzard, very common up that area, although they are getting very common in England now,did you see the snow buntings while you were up there.??

aw just a buzzard? the people I was with were pretty sure it was something else as we see buzzard's all the time... oh well

Its surely a buzzard but its not the most ordinary-looking one! Very variable species.
